In the MPR on Friday the Bay Federal Credit Union’s “Bite of Reality” activity was an exercise in financial literacy for students where they assumed the character of an adult with a particular job and paid and budgeted food, fun, housing, transportation, and more. Surrounding yourself with proud parents, excited students, and hopes for what these students will do once they graduate makes it impossible not to feel positive about the future. Join us Thursday to see our young Pirates receive awards for achievements in academic departments, biliteracy, grades, athletics, and scholarships. These students and more will be recognized at the senior awards night this week. It’s wonderful to have eight students this year represent Harbor High and celebrate their achievements earned over the past four years.
